Prof. K. Sumakiran, joined the Department as Assistant Professor with 10 years of experience as Lecturer in English. He acted as deputy warden and Warden of the University Hostels for Men and acted as co ordinator, Remedial Coaching for SC., ST., and Minorities (UGC merged scheme) . He is the Director of PET centre SV University, Tirupati. He is a Member in various Committees of the University. He is a Member in various Boards of Studies in Universities / Autonomous Engineering Colleges.

Specialized in the areas of Cultural History Epigraphy, Museology and Temple Studies. Published 77 papers in National/International Journals and published one book ‘The Simhachalam Temple: A Cultural Study’, Tirupati, 1995. Presented 40 papers in National/International conferences/Seminars, 7 Ph.Ds. and 3 M.Phil. degrees were awarded under his guidance. As a principal investigator developed e-content for the post graduation subject Indian culture, an UGC-MHRD project under NMEICT. Dr. B.V. Muralidhar, b(1964) is presently the Professor and Chairman, BOS in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration, Director, DSWCA S.V University, and former Principal, SVUCOA. His area of specialization and interests are International Relations/Foreign Policy. He joined the department as Assistant Professor in 1989. He is a member of various associations and academic bodies in India and abroad and contributed research articles in national and international journals/books. Organized Two national and Two international conferences, 15 International and 1 National Webinar. Author of 11 books (edited) and Editor/Article Reviewer for National and Foreign journals. He presented research articles both at national and international seminars/conferences and visited 17 countries on academic assignments. He was selected by the Department of State, USA to do a course on ‘American Politics and Thought’ at UMass, Amherst, USA in 2007 (American Fulbright Programme). He gave Extension Lectures, UGC special lectures and 111 Academic Staff college talks so far.

Dr.T.Chandrasekarayya completed M.A (Population Studies), B.Ed. (Social Studies & English), M.S.W, PhD (Population Studies). He has been working as Faculty Member since 2007 in the Dept. of Population Studies, S.V.University, Tirupati, A.P. His specialisations are: Migration, Urbanisation, (Population Studies), Rural, Urban & tribal Community Development and Social Policy and Planning (Master of Social Work). He is author for eight books and co-author for two books. He guided two PhD’s and one M.Phil. He published 85 articles in international/nationals journals and books. He attended 103 Seminars, conference & Workshops / presented research paper. He appointed as member in academic and non-academic committees of S.V.University, Tirupati and observer for J.R.F, J.E.E and NEET. He is editorial board member for four journals and member in three professional bodies.
