The University opted for an evaluation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of the University Grants Commission. The Apex Council NAAC awarded Four Star Grade and subsequently re-accredited with ‘A’ Grade and Sri Venkateswara University is currently re-accredited with ‘A+’ Grade by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC).
NAAC Accreditation determines the quality of the Institute in terms of Education, Research, Infrastructure, Teaching, Learning, Placement etc. NAAC accreditation helps the University in the allocation of resources, planning in the internal areas.In pursuance of the National Action plan of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for Performance evaluation, Assessment and Accreditation and quality upgradation of Institutions of Higher Education, the NAAC proposes that every accredited Institution should establish Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an Institution’s system and work towards realizing the goals of the quality enhancement and sustenance.
