College of Pharmaceutical Sciences Profile:

The Pharmacy courses were started in 2006 in the department of Biochemistry. The college of Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2017, to promote advanced science and research in pharmaceutical sciences and to cater to the needs of the student community of A.P. in general and of the Rayalaseema region.

SVUCPS was approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi from 2018 onwards. Passed out students were recruited through campus placements in MNC’s and formulation industries. Our students of SVUCPS are actively participating in NSS, Inter collegiate games and other social activities..
At college of Pharmaceutical sciences, students and faculty continuously endeavour to create and impart knowledge vital to the education and professional growth of students as pharmacists, healthcare professionals and research scholars. The primary purpose of the programs run by the college of Pharmaceutical sciences is to provide education attuned towards preparing for a career in pharmaceutical industry, research and education

                        Technological superiority is achieved by paying attention to details in not only theory, but also in practical classes. The exposure to recent developments via research review meetings, Journal club meetings and the applications of these provide the cutting edge technology. This helps our students to be able to take up challenging careers globally.

                        Guest lectures delivered by various luminaries and the day to day interactions of the students and teachers and the environment provided in the institution, ensure that the students give due importance to values and ethics.

 

                        The opportunity to learn about the achievements and life histories of nobel laureates exhibited in the institution, impacts the minds of students so that they can appreciate human creativity and develop an analytical inquiring mind.
