UNIVERSITY SCIENTIFIC INSTRUMENTATION CENTRE

This Centre was started as a central facility for Hobbies (Hobby Centre) and Workshop practice (Central Workshop) in the year 1959. The Status of the Centre was elevated to Central instrumentation and Services Laboratory (CISL) by the UGC during five years plan period (1974-79). The Present status of USIC level II was attained in 1984.

University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC) is a non-Vacation academic department functioning as a Centralized Instrumentation facility for the benefit of various departments on the Campus and at times to the needy local educational institution outside the campus also. One scholar is presently working and One MRP is completed. 22 research papers have been published.
