Dr. Marri Padmaja serving as faculty member in the Center for Southeast Asia and Pacific Studies, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. She is Specialized on Anthropological and Cultural Issues of Southeast Asia and South Pacific Region. As a Post Doctoral Fellow Dr. Padmaja worked on Women Empowerment of Schedule Tribes in Andhra Pradesh. A cople of Ph.Ds were awarded under her supervision. Apart from guided and guiding Two Post Doctoral Fellows. She visited Countries like Australia and Singapore. She has published Eight books and 42 papers in National and International Journals. Apart from 96 Papers were presented at National and International Seminars. She has been a member of Editorial Board of Asia Pacific Journal of Social Sciences and Area Studies Journal. Dr. Padmaja has received Best Women Teacher of Jothirao Phule Award in 2019. She is member of various organizations and Professional Bodies.
