Prof.O.V.S.Reddy joined in S.V.University, Tirupati in the year 1992. Before that he worked for PhD at CSIR-CFTRI, Mysore after qualifying UGC-CSIR NET. Worked as STA Post Doctorial Fellow for two years (1998-2000). Visited Italy in the year 2006 for one year utilizing the Italian Govt. Scholarship programme and completed the PG Diploma in Bioinformatics. Carried out research in the Department, received funding from various funding agencies, guided nineteen PhD students and published more than one hundred research pipers in National and International journals. Also published several review articles, books and attended conferences at National and International level. Received several awards including UGC-Mid-career award. His PhD students are well placed and working all over the world.
