He did his M.Com and obtained first rank. He got his M.Phil and Ph.D in1988 and 1990 respectively. He was appointed as lecturer in commerce in 1992 and promoted to professor in 2009. He published 98 articles in various reputed national and international journals, attended and presented papers at 134 national and international seminars and conferences. He participated in 33 national and international virtual interaction sessions of webinars. He is an editorial member to many reputed journals. He conducted national seminars and acted as co-director for national and international seminars. He also acted as resource person in many conferences/seminars. He has guided 14 Ph.Ds and 3 M.Phils and carried out research projects funded by the ICSSR and UGC, New Delhi. He delivered 12 AIR talks on different contemporary issues. He authored 12 books. He acted as Editor for the book titled “Advanced Accounting” published by APSCHE during the year 2022-23 and course writer for SVU, DDE. He served as Deputy Co-ordinator for National youth Festival. He is a life member of AIAA, AICA and Indian Red Cross Society. He is a BOS member for several universities — Sri Padmavathi Mahila University, Rayalaseema University, YV University, Silver Jubilee College, VS University, Gulbarga University, Sree Rama Engineering College and KSRM Engineering College, and now he is the BOS chairman in Commerce (PG), Dept. of Commerce, SVU. He was appointed as one of the examiners for APCETPG. He is a member of Academic Council of S.G.S Arts College, Tirupati. He was nominated as a member for State Level Committee for AP best teacher awards (APSCHE). He served as Vice-Principal and Warden of SVUCCM&CS.
At present, he is the Principal of the College of Commerce, Management and Computer Science, SV University. He is acting as chairman for College inspection committees and as member for many university committees. The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh honoured him with BEST TEACHER AWARD for the year 2023. Besides, he was given Appreciation certificate by the i-manager, a reputed international journal for acting as a Member of Editorial Board. In 2024, He received the Mother Teresa’s Service Award by X-ray Saitya Samskrithika Seva Samithi, Vijayawada and Award of Excellence (Distinguished Alumni Excellence) from the Govt. College for Men (A), Kadapa.
