She has been working as Associate Professor & Head, Department of Fishery Science and Aquaculture, College of Sciences, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. She Obtained her M.Sc, and Ph.D in Sri Padmavathi Mahila Vishwa Vidhyalayam, Tirupati, India in 2006. She Guided one student for M.Phil and two P.hD. She has to her credit 37 research articles published in various national and International scientific research journals and edited one International Book. She got two Awards. She presented several papers in various conferences, seminars, and workshops. She is also working as Deputy Warden in Sri Venkateswara University Womens Hostel. She is B.O.S Ex-officio member in the Department of Fishery Science & Aquaculture.
