Dr R Ranjani Ramakrishnan joined in July 2007 in Virology department as teaching faculty, S V University, Tirupati.
Dr. R. Ranjani obtained her BSc. MSc., PhD., PGDPD from SV University, Tirupati. She worked as JRF in CSIR project. She qualified GATE in 1996.
She worked as teaching faculty taught for MSc students on contract basis for 4 years and acted as Academic Counselor for MSc – DFN, IGNOU students, member in SPMVVCET, Admission Committee and BOS in SPMVV, Tirupati.
She worked as teaching faculty taught for BSc students for 3 years. She worked as the guest faculty for both BSc and MSc students in Nellore College, SPMVV, SPWC, and SVU – DDE.
She has Completed Certificate courses in Communicative English and soft skills; Devotional Music in SPMVV and E-Commerce at APTECH, Tirupati.
She published 32 research papers, 2 books, co-author in 2 books for co- edited 4 books and 10 articles in college magazines.
She received UGC-MRP (2011) project grant, completed 4 MSc projects, and successfully supervised PhD students. She participated in conferences and workshops. She visited SRI LANKA. Worked as Joint Organizing Secretary in VIROCON 2010.
She received 14, National and International awards
Acted as a Member in Anti-ragging committee, Examiner, Inspection committee, Observer, resource person, BOS member in Virology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, SVU, Biochemistry, Organized the workshop in SPMVV. Co-coordinator for virology alumni. She worked as deputy warden of SVU Women’s hostel for 2 months. She acted as the Invited speaker and key note speaker on the occasion of birth anniversary of National leaders.
She is Life member in ISCA, APAS, NESA and NEA.
