About
Prof.V.Srikanth Reddy, during his long career of 30 years as Lecturer, Associate Professor and Professor in the Department of Psychology in Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, he proved himself as a good teacher, Researcher and an able Administrator with a student friendly approach. Hel held many administrative and academic positions in the University. Currently he is the Rector of S.V.University.
16 Ph.Ds and 13 M.Phils have been awarded under his research guidance and more than 10 scholars are still working for their Ph.D. Three students have completed their post -doctoral fellowships under his able guidance. He has also guided two Fulbright scholars in India and currently two post-doctoral fellows are working under him and currently he is the Director for Centre for Research on Aging, Department of Psychology, S.V.University. He has handled 3 projects.
To his credit he has 38 Research Publications and attended several Conferences / Seminars /Workshops, he has Edited Books: 2 and received Dr. D.P. Basu Medal for Best Paper Presentation at VII Annual Conference of Geriatric Society of India, 1988. UGADI PURASKARAM STATE AWARD – 2015 for Teaching, Research and Counseling in the Field of Psychology and Andhra Pradesh State Best Teacher award for the year 2021-22.
