Centre for Extension Studies

The Centre for Extension Studies was established in the year 1990 with objective of promoting Awareness & skills among the rural community by organizing extension activities. The centre has been organizing vocational training programmes, awareness programmes and conducting surveys in rural areas on agricultural aspects, vocational training needs. Since 2018 to till date, the centre has organized 11 vocational training programmes ,7 Awareness programmes and 18Research Studies were conducted. 1 National and 1 Intenational Webinar were organized and attended 12 national and one international webinars. In order to disseminate Information on government schemes, organic farming and other important aspects, brochures and booklets were published and distributed. By organizing these programmes, the centre is contributing to generate awareness and promoting skills among rural community.
