Dr. V. RAMESH BABU has been a faculty member at the Centre for Southeast Asian & Pacific Studies, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, since 2007. He got his PhD from Economics and specialised in geo-economics and trade of Southeast Asia, East Asia and South Pacific regions. He has involved in the study and research on multidisciplinary themes relating to the Southeast Asian and Pacific regions. He has to his credit 4 books, 25 papers published in national and international journals and 30 papers presented at national and international seminars. He has also completed one ICSSR minor research project. Dr. Ramesh Babu is a member, Board of Studies of Centre for Southeast Asian and Pacific Studies and Department of History, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati. He served as the Deputy Director, Directorate of Admissions and Deputy Warden for Men’s Hostels, S.V. University College of Arts. He is a member of various Academic & professional bodies. He also visited Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and New Zealand.
