During these long sojourns, the department mainly has dealt one foundational question, how society can be understood by raising sociological questions and how sociology can be understood by posing and solving social questions, Beginning this intellectual journey, looked into the intricacies of the notion of ‘Job Scope’ i.e. preparing for life it’s time to decide the priority of heart over stomach. As both are co-equally important the department is extending open hand over fist, by theorising and practicing sociology by observing challenging trends in society and sociology alike.
We implant social service to each of our students and research to cater to the growing and grinding demands of the society.
Our programmes are visual reminders that signifies the department’s commitment to it’s students, the parents and members of the community which it has vowed to serve.
